To edit an AHU

To edit an AHU, it must be fetched from the AHU Library.

An AHU can be configured for number of modules, their stack levels, order of modules and connections within a module.

  1. Select (AHU).

    The AHU Placement dialog appears.

  2. Select (Edit AHU) tool icon.

    The AHU Builder dialog appears.

  3. Click the (Load Library) tool on the toolbar.

    Opens Load AHU Library dialog.

  4. Select Destination and required library File name and click OK.

The selected library gets loaded in the AHU List.

  5. Expand the library by clicking on the [+] mark on the .xml node.

The AHU list expands listing AHUs available in the library. The preview window displays the geometry of active AHU in the list in the orientation currently set in the display view.

  6. Highlight the AHU that needs modifications.

The Selected Modules list displays the modules composed in the AHU. The connection data fields turn enabled for the topmost module in the Selected Modules list.

  7. Edit the module for its dimension, number of modules, order of modules, connections in module, and connection data. A selected connection is modified by setting altered connection data and clicking the Modify button in the bottom.

The altered settings apply to the current module.

  8. Repeat the step for other modules in the list, as required.

You can even remove a module or connection by highlighting it and selecting the right-click > Remove menu.

  9. Click Save on the task menu to complete the edits. The AHU can be later placed in the drawing just by selecting it.

AHUs placed in the model via the AHU Placement/Builder utility can be modified using the right-click > Modify menu or using (Modify Properties). The Modify Component dialog opens for the selected AHU. It facilitates modifying majority properties. The greyed out properties indicate disabled properties locked in the AHU builder's configuration settings.
